Jacala Cubs have been busy building wooden model cars for the District Kub Kar competition in February.

Star Wars comes to Kidlington

ScoutRail success!

Our annual model rail show was another huge success this year.

ScoutRail is a two day show that has been running for more than 30 years to raise funds for the Scout Group.

This year we welcomed more than 1000 visitors who came to see 12 model railway layouts, buy modelling equipment and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake at the cafe.

Everyone had a great time and we received some very complimentary comments about our helpful and friendly Scouts. 

Most importantly, we raised lots of money to enable us to carry on providing first class Scouting in well maintained premises.

Thank you to everyone who helped to run the event or turned up and spent money!

Co-op fundraising day

Thanks for the support at Coop today, wenadded £500 to the Coop fundraising partnership pot which will be shared 50/50 with the guides. Current total estimates for the pot is an amazing £5,000.

Sainsburys bag packing

Our annual bag packing day at Kidlington Sainsburys raised a whopping £1980! Massive thanks to to the 100+ members who took part, and to the generous shoppers.

Christmas post

We sorted around 2300 Christmas cards tonight. The rest will be sorted next Saturday, ready for the Scouts to deliver before the 23rd.
